About Us
Our organisation is a faith-led Community charity and Place of Worship which has been established for over 25 years and located in a Grade II Star listed building (previously known as Old Icknield School) and registered at 303, Icknield Street, Hockley, Birmingham B18 5AU (near to the Jewellery Quarter).
As part of the organisation’s Core Values we also offer facilities for members of the public to hold community led gatherings, celebrate annual calendar events, festivals and religious celebrations such as the Annual Flag Ceremony, Bhagwan Valmiki Ji’s birth anniversary, Indian Independence Day and Diwali to name but a few.

Dignitaries Visit Bhagwan Valmiki Ashram
We were honored to welcome mass leader Sahukar Sri Ramesh Jarkiholi to the Bhagwan Valmiki Ashram in Birmingham on Sunday 9th August 2026 during his foreign tour.
During his visit, he obtained the sacred darshan of Bhagwan Valmiki, creator of the holy scripture Sri Ramayana, and commended the Ashram’s efforts in preserving Sanatana culture, religious traditions, and Indian values abroad.
